My name is Matilde Arrighetti, though in the art and design world I go by Bisestilde. Born on the rare leap day of 29 February -“bisestile” in Italian - I’ve always felt a special connection to the idea of being slightly out of the ordinary.
I’m currently based in Amsterdam, where I work as a Junior Designer at Design Bridge and Partners. With a background in Communication and Systemic Design, I love exploring the intersection between creativity and strategy, experimenting with different approaches to craft thoughtful and engaging visual identities.
Curiosity is what drives me: I’m constantly looking for new ways to grow, challenge myself, and learn from the world around me. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with a book in hand — mostly non-fiction — feeding that same curiosity that shapes my design practice.
